Macedonia marks Friday the National Uprising Day that broke out 78 years ago. Flowers will be laid at the Partisan Cemetery in Butel in Skopje and the annual state award “11 October” will be awarded for the highest recognition of a lifetime achievement in the field of science, art, business and other public interest activities.

Flowers will be laid at the Kumanovo Memorial, after which Prime Minister Zoran Zaev will deliver an address.

A ceremony will be held in Prilep in front of the monuments of Metodija Andonov-Cento and Kuzman Josifoski-Pitu and a march will be held in honor of the fallen fighters and flowers will be laid at the memorial complex.
