VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski urged the nation to work to build a future that would be shared by all. In his letter of congratulations on the day of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Mickoski asked that the vision of the sainted brothers is used in these difficult times.

We face dailys hardships and challenges no less severe than those faced by the saints we honor. This is a reality we can change, with vision, knowledge and wisdom. Macedonia is a country with deep roots and history but also a country where we must secure the future for all, Mickoski writes in his letter.

May 24th is set aside to celebrated their accomplishment, the codification of the Glagolitic alphabet which was used to enlighten the Slavic nations of Europe and to spread Christianity among them.
