VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said that the party is planning its activities, especially in the local administration where it managers the key cities and 50 municipalities, based on polls.

We have our candidates ahead of their SDSM rivals, leading 2:1, Mickoski said in an Alsat TV interview. “We conduct these polls because, five months after the elections, the citizens already have an idea how the VMRO mayors work. We poll satisfaction with the work of the municipal authorities, with issuing building permits, spatial plans, documents, corruption levels. In terms of corruption, the advantage of our candidates is 3:1”, Mickoski added.

According to the opposition leader, his party takes management of the municipalities very seriously. “It’s not small thing to be a stakeholder who manages 50 municipalities. It is what we build our policies on”, Mickoski said.
