VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski met with Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek today, and Mickoski outlined the systemic political persecution which the opposition is facing in Macedonia.

A basic element of the functioning of this Government is the lack of respect for the rule of law. The Government is engaged in political persecution instead of tackling the problems faced by the citizens. We have growing corruption in all segments of our society. The autocratic matrix of Zaevism is destroying any hope that we will advance, in any area of importance for the citizens, Mickoski said during his meeting with Petricek.

Mickoski and Petricek also discussed the EU and NATO integration process of Macedonia. Mickoski said that VMRO supports the integration, and that progress should be related to the accomplished reforms and past efforts in this regard.
