Discussing the “Slavija” scandal, in which the Zaev regime is trying to sell what’s left of the Communist era retail giant for mere 200,000 EUR, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said that construction development interests are apparently behind the scandal.
The entire property of the company is estimated at 20 million EUR. Just last year, its revenue was about 800,000 EUR, four times over the starting auction price. Not to mention the development plans that the potential buyer will have on its property, Mickoski said.
The company has a large office space in Skopje’s Gazi Baba district, which is popular with real-estate developers.
