Voters turned out in large numbers, and from what we could observe, the people are anxious for a change, said VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski when he voted in Skopje’s Vlae district. The statement, along with those of other politicians, were embargoed due to the electoral silence laws until the close of the polling stations.
The opposition leader said that there were numerous irregularities during the day which will “be a stain on the process”.
It was the last cry of the SDSM leadership and Zoran Zaev. I expect that these attempt to subvert the will of the voters will be dismantled by the end of the day. My message to those involved is to be reasonable, the change is coming and the citizens will vote freely, Mickoski said.
