VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski accused the Zaev regime of using undemocratic and violent tactics in the second round of the elections. In one of the numerous incidents that were reported, Mickoski himself went to Kocani, where an Infomax.mk news crew was attacked by SDSM party supporters.
The desire and hope for a new future are noticeable among the people of Macedonia, and the mass turnout proves it. Unfortunately, we observed many irregularities in these past few days and open abuse of the state institutions by the outgoing Government. This was an undemocratic and violent attempt to defeat the will of the people. But I believe it will all backfire and that a hope will overcome, Mickoski said as he voted in the mayoral run-off in Skopje today.
