During an additional search carried out by Bulgarian investigators on Friday, another body was found in the Besa Trans bus on the Struma highway, Bulgarian Deputy Chief Prosecutor and Head of the National Investigation Service, Borislav Sarafov told Bulgarian Nova TV.

Unfortunately, the mystery is solved. There is no eighth rescued passenger. We found the body of a child. At 9.15 pm on the tragic night, 52 passengers entered through “Captain Andreevo”, 45 of them were found in the bus, 7 are in the “Pirogov” hospital. Unfortunately, no one else has survived, Sarafov said.

Sarafov also said that the investigator and the prosecutor sent to Skopje will stay there until Sunday at the latest. They must bring the documentation related to the fatal bus and the DNA profiles of the relatives of the victims. The identification of the victims of the incident will begin immediately after.
