Ohridska Bank is warning the public that a phishing scam is spreading, in which people are falsely informed that they have inflows in their bank accounts.

The emails are coming from “[email protected]” with the subject: Notification for incoming hard currency deposit, and the message demands that the recipient urgently “agrees” to receive the money. In is feared that the scammers are using the messages to extract bank account information from gullible recipients.

Ohridska Bank asks that the messages are left unopened, while all who have opened the message should seek help from an IT professional.
