President Stevo Pendarovski is paying July 15-16 an official visit to the Republic of Slovenia, where he is set to meet with host Borut Pahor, followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations.

President Pendarovski will meet Tuesday with the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia Dejan Židan and Slovenian Prime Minister Marjan Šarec.

In Ljubljana, President Pendarovski will deliver a lecture at the International Institute for Middle East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) on the topic “The future of North Macedonia – How to speed up EU integration”.

During the visit, the president will hold a meeting with MEP Tanja Fajon, will meet with Slovenian businessmen, as well as with representatives of Macedonian cultural societies in Slovenia.

In Ljubljana, President Pendarovski will visit the Macedonian Orthodox Church “St. Clement of Ohrid”.

During his official visit to the Republic of Slovenia, President Pendarovski will be accompanied by his wife, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, the President’s Office informed.
