Polling stations all across Macedonia were closed at 19:00 h where the citizens had the chance to vote in Sunday’s presidential election. According to the SEC, 34.52% of the registered voters voted by 17:00h.
1,808,131 citizens registered in the voters’ list were eligible to vote in 3,480 polling places in the Republic and 32 abroad. Polling stations are open from 7 to 19 h.
The presidential elections, according to the State Election Commission, were monitored by 3,150 domestic and 419 foreign observers accredited by the SEC.
The second round for the presidential election is scheduled for two weeks, on May 5.
