During his visit to Macedonia, Pope Francis will hold a sermon at the Philip of Macedon sports stadium in Skopje. The visit, the first for a Pope to independent Macedonia, is expected on May 7th.
Organizers hope that his visit will draw between 40 and 50 thousand worshipers, said Arian Aslani, director of the Mother Teresa memorial home.
The Pope will also visit the memorial home, built at the site where the Catholic Sacred Heart church used to stand, where it is believed that Mother Teresa had one of her visions. The Pope will pray at the house, which has a small chapel at the top.
