The COVID-19 Crisis HQ decided Friday to accept the recommendation of the Commission for Infectious Diseases and propose to the Government that primary school pupils attend instruction without masks, unless they want to. The mask mandate for teachers and other school staff remains in place.
According to the Government Press Service, the Crisis HQ decided to accept the recommendation of the Commission and propose the Government restore in-person learning at the faculties, with a strong appeal for vaccination of both students and educational staff.
At this session, the Crisis HQ decided to propose to the Government to change the decision for maximum capacity of indoor facilities from 50 percent to 75 percent in compliance with the mask mandate and other Covid protocols.
The Crisis HQ also accepted the recommendation of the Commission for Infectious Diseases that the Government should lift part of the protocols for hospitality facilities that requires a vaccination certificate for the open areas of venues, with the vaccination certificate mandate remaining in place for closed areas.
