Organized crime prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska said that she has ordered searches at three locations in connection with the major racketeering scandal that reaches toward the Zaev Government. One of the persons who are being charged is top SDSM party official and Parliament Deputy Speaker Frosina Remenski.
Ruskoska said that the prosecutors have enough evidence for all the suspects after one of them – Jasna Mandik – was interrogated. The prosecutor revealed that one of the previous defendants in the case was leaning toward a deal, but it was not struck. So far she has charged the disgraced former Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva, showman Bojan Jovanovski – Boki 13 and his accomplice and bagman Zoran Mileski – Zoki Kicheec. All are suspected of extorting at least 1.5 million EUR from businessman Jordan Orce Kamcev.
The new charges cover a bogus humanitarian organization set up by Boki 13, which collected a million EUR from two real-estate developers on the pretext of lucrative development deals. The charges will focus on the money laundering aspect of the case.
