On social media, Petre Shilegov, the former mayor of Skopje, called for May elections and the resignation of Mayor Danela Arsovska. According to Shilegov, Skopje is currently undergoing total destruction.

“Dear Arsovska, go away. Submit your resignation. It is virtuous to admit to yourself that you are totally incapable and unfit to lead the city. And it just happened to you. Unplanned. (With no vision and plan that would work. With all my and our (party, political and civil) mistakes that contributed to it). In May, of course, we have elections in Macedonia. Let there be elections in Skopje as well. For a little dignity that each of us should have. And for the sake of the City (not so beautiful lately) in which we all live”, writes Shilegov.

Although he claims he has no desire to serve as mayor once more, he believes that everything about Skopje is fine and that nothing is wrong.
