The three presidential candidates, Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, Stevo Pendarovski and Blerim Reka, faced off Wednesday on TV Alsat.

When responding to the question what that they will do with the Law on Languages if they become president of the state, Siljanovska said:

Only the Constitutional Court can abolish unconstitutional provisions of that law. I have many remarks on the compliance of some provisions with the Constitution and the Framework Agreement. But as long as it applies, I will respect and implement it.

 

There is no danger of disintegration of the country, on the contrary, it will strengthen the cohesion of the society and the citizens who have the right to use the Albanian language feel this state as their own more than before, Pendarovski responded.
