VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition in the upcoming presidential election will be running a European campaign, the Vice-President of the party, Vlado Misajlovski, informed Thursday, after the official application of VMRO-DPMNE presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska Davkova was submitted to the SEC with the support of 17,000 citizens.

Today is a beautiful day for all citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, because we have an excellent candidate, a candidate who will be accepted by the majority of citizens and will unite for a great victory for the Republic of Macedonia, said Misajlovski and urged all citizens to join them to lead, as he pointed out, the fight for justice.

He emphasized that Gordana Siljanovska Davkova is the right choice for the future president of the state and added that they expect a great campaign because it has the basis for a good race and the best one will win, and according to them that is Gordana Siljanovska Davkova.

We have the opportunity to reach all citizens, to visit them, to start going on the field from door to door. Let’s visit all families, let’s say what is really going on in this period, what the government did in the past period. And of course and what we will improve. That’s why Gordana Siljanovska Davkova is really the right choice for the Republic of Macedonia. We expect to have a great campaign. We expect in the coming period to really show a good basis for a good race and, of course, the best candidate to win, and that is Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, said Misajlovski.

Siljanovska Davkova’s application was submitted by the applicant VMRO-DPMNE, Misajlovski said answering a journalist question whether it was submitted under the name Republic of Macedonia or the Republic of North Macedonia.

The reality is that this government has changed the name of the Republic of Macedonia, the reality is that they have changed all Macedonian terms, the reality is that this government, no matter how it says that it protects everything that is Macedonian, it is not happening, said Misajlovski and added that his party will try in every way to restore the identity.

Soon he announced the presentation of the program that is still being prepared which, he said, will touch all citizens and announce a European campaign, because his party sees itself in Europe.

Shortly before Siljanoska’s application was submitted, the application of Stevo Pendarovski, SDSM and its coalition presidential candidate was submitted to the SEC.
