There are 48 people on the Ministry of Justice’s list for pardon from serving part of the prison sentence or for full pardon as a proposal to the President. Among the names are the businessman Seat Kocan, Aleksandar Vasilevski-Ninja, the controversial prosecution witness for the events of April 27, 2017, Boban Ilic, convicted for the murder of 4-year-old Almir in Kumanovo…
Partial pardon is required for 45 people, and full pardon for three. Aleksandar Vasilevski was convicted on terrorism charges for the events in the Parliament on April 27, 2017.
Sead Kocan is on the proposed list for pardon of the six-month prison sentence proposed by the prison administration of Idrizovo. Kocan was sentenced to 6 years in prison, because with fake documents he participated and won tenders for excavation of coal in REK “Bitola”, worth 17 million euros. The Appellate Court reduced his sentence to 4 years and 8 months in prison.
Boban Ilic is the man who killed 4-year-old Almir, a case that we have been reporting for years that is decided by politics, not the judiciary. By the way, Boban’s father is a member of SDSM, writes Alsat journalist Furkan Saliu.
The final version of the list will be sent to the Pardon Commission, in the office of the President.
