St. Clement of Ohrid Day is celebrated nationally in Macedonia with a number of activities, including an awards ceremony in Parliament for the 2023 St. Clement of Ohrid Awards, which recognize exceptional achievement in the fields of education, culture, the arts, healthcare, and environmental preservation. The National and University Library will host an event called “St. Clement of Ohrid, the Source of Our Spirituality and Education,” which PM Kovachevski will then inaugurate. Saint. Clement of Ohrid, who is revered as the patron saint of the Ohrid Archbishopric of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, will also be commemorated at liturgies held in churches across the country.
