VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said that the opposition is not blocking the Parliament as initiatives, such as the appointment of new Constitutional Court judges, remain stuck.
If you are asking me about the Committee on appointments, there are members of Parliament on it. As far as I know, the Parliament still has the full 120 representatives, is not dissolved, there are no representatives that are missing. Ok, one went missing, but he was found. So the Committee is fully staffed and the Speaker needs to dare and convene it, Mickoski said.
He pointed to the fact that the SDSM – DUI coalition has a razor thin majority and is often unable to convene the Parliament or legislate as the problem. Mickoski accused the ruling coalition of trying to politicize the Constitutional Court and the regulatory institutions and said that the opposition will work as hard as it can to oppose this.
