In an attempt to align Macedonian regulations with those of the EU, as of today, companies are required to appoint a person in charge for protecting personal data of customers.

The requirement applies to all companies, no matter how big or small. Companies will also have to increase the level of protection and adopt protocols for protecting the data of their customers which they collect in the process of their work.
