Ten new holidays for the communities listed in the Preamble of the Constitution as “others” will be introduced in the country, and the draft law on holidays is in front of the deputies in the first reading today.

With this, the Slovenians, Hungarians, Poles, Balkan Egyptians, Croats, Montenegrins, Armenians, Bulgarians, Greeks and Russians who live in Macedonia will get their holidays.

This is the proposal of a group of lawmakers to amend the Law on Holidays in the Republic of Macedonia, which also proposes changing the name of the law into the Law on Holidays in the Republic of North Macedonia.
