Out of 1,253 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 296 new cases were registered, 511 patients have recovered and 18 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.
Among the 18 that passed away, two patients are from Skopje (aged 59 and 54), three from Stip (49, 82 and 68), one patient from Prilep (81), one from Tetovo (64), one from Struga (65), one from Veles (65), one from Bitola (61), one from Ohrid (84), one from Kavadarci (75), two patients from Gostivar (73 and 52), one from Strumica (57), one from Kriva Palanka (75) and two patients from Kicevo (82 and 68).
New cases were registered in: Skopje – 90, Kumanovo-19, Debar-9, Stip-13, Prilep-23, Tetovo-14, Struga-9, Veles-16, Bitola-9, Ohrid-15, Kavadarci-12, Gostivar-4, Gevgelija- 7, Strumica-17, Kriva Palanka-4, Radovis-1, Kocani-3, Probistip-1, Demir, Hisar-2, Valandovo-3, Vinica-2, Delcevo-1, Sveti Nikole-2, Kicevo-2, Resen-9, Negotino-9.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 81,721 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 59,231people have recovered. The death toll stands at 2,445. At the moment, there are 20,045 active cases across the country.
