Out of 1,325 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 565 new cases were registered, 154 patients have recovered and 21 passed away, the Health Ministry said on Monday.
New cases were registered in Skopje-230, Kumanovo-35, Stip-13, Prilep-65, Tetovo-39, Struga-1, Veles-27, Bitola-15, Ohrid-3, Kavadarci-10, Gostivar-27, Gevgelija-13, Strumica- 17, Kriva Palanka-6, Radovis-7, Krusevo-3, Kocani-15, Probistip-3, Berovo-5, Valandovo-3, Vinica-3, Delcevo-2, Kratovo-6, Sveti Nikole-4, Kicevo- 3, Resen-1, Negotino-9.
21 people died, including 6 patients from Skopje (aged 45, 52, 63, 67, 68 and 84), five patients from Tetovo (aged 69, 73, 75, 69 and 83), one from Kumanovo (aged 74), two patients from Veles (aged 83 and 89), two from Bogdanci (aged 75 and 85) and one patient each from Bitola (79), Radovish (71), Prilep (61), Ohrid (51) and Stip (63).
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 32,997 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 21,244 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,025. At the moment, there are 10,728 active cases across the country.
