In the last 24 hours, of 1,715 coronavirus tests performed in Macedonia, 659 have returned positive, and another 23 people have died from complications related to COVID-19, the Ministry of Health reported on Sunday afternoon.
New cases were registered in: Skopje-248, Kumanovo-18, Debar-1, Stip-8, Prilep-33, Tetovo-40, Struga-39, Veles-33, Bitola-46, Ohrid-47, Kavadarci-14, Gostivar-21, Gevgelija- 1, Strumica-2, Kriva Palanka-4, Radovis-3, Kocani-14, Demir Hisar-3, Makedonski Brod-1, Pehcevo-1, Berovo-11, Valandovo-1, Vinica-11, Delcevo-5, Sveti Nikole-17, Kicevo-4, Resen-12, Negotino-21.
23 people died, including five patients from Skopje (aged 61, 61, 79, 84 and 68), two from Stip (aged 60 and 69), four from Struga (aged 55, 57, 56 and 84), four from Bitola (aged 67, 59 , 79 and 70), three patients from Ohrid (aged 64, 70 and 65), one from Gostivar (aged 72), one from Strumica (aged 55), two from Radovis (aged 73 and 81), one from Krusevo (aged 63).
The Public Health Institute registered today 774 recovered patients from all over the country.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 67,968 confirmed coronavirus cases, while 43,646 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 1,924. At the moment, there are 22,398 active cases across the country.
