Out of 2,900 COVID-19 tests carried out in Macedonia in the past 24 hours, 421 new cases were registered and 8 patients passed away, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

The Ministry also added 5 deaths to the report that occurred in September.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Macedonia has registered 195,963 confirmed coronavirus cases. The death toll stands at 6,888. At the moment, there are 6,602 active cases across the country.
