VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski urged all citizens to join the protest planned for this afternoon in Skopje, saying that there is no Macedonian alive who didn’t feel ashamed from the interview in which Prime Minister Zoran Zaev capitulated on practically all claims put forward by Bulgaria.

If Zaev declares the occupiers as liberators, then the Macedonian anti-fascists, the partisans who are the true liberators, will be declared occupiers by Zaev. Macedonian statehood is based on the 1903 Ilinden Uprising and on the National-Liberation Struggle (in the Second World War). His comments signify that Zaev is canceling Macedonian statehood. This is no small matter, we are at a historic crossroad and we must show that we either deserve to have a state or disappear. Protest now, before it is too late, Mickoski said.

The protest begins at 18h at the Boris Trajkovski sports hall, where citizens are asked to come with their cars, to avoid coronavirus exposure, and drive down to the Government building.
