A Bulgarian TV crew came to Studenicani, a village south of Skopje, where many of the passengers who died in the bus disaster this morning lived. But even on such a day, the crew recorded a local bus driver speaking on the phone, while driving, the coronavirus mask underneath his chin.

There are numerous reports from Bulgarian outlets that the reason why the bus crash ended with such a high death toll is that the driver was allegedly transporting gas canisters from Turkey, to take advantage of the much lower prices.
