Swiss prosecutors have charged a Macedonian citizen of recruiting Islamists to go fight with the Islamic State.

Two men who lived in the north-west of Switzerland were arrested, one a dual Swiss – Italian citizen and the other a dual Macedonian – Swiss passport holder. Police has been following them for years. The Swiss – Italian citizen had traveled to Syria but has returned to Switzerland to operate as a recruiter.

It’s estimated that some 150 Macedonian citizens, most of them ethnic Albanian Muslims, have joined ISIS over the course of its fight.
