The Government refused the suggestion from its Covid commisison that masks are made optional for elementary school students.
The recommendation was made a week ago, and the Government met today, but did not approve it. Macedonia is now mostly out of the large Omicron wave of the illness, which caused so far unprecedented numbers of infections.
