The government extended the term of Macedonia’s special envoy for Bulgaria Vlado Buckovski during its Tuesday session.

His appointment comes at a time when Skopje is making efforts to find a solution with Sofia, which threatens to block Macedonia’s negotiating framework for starting negotiations with the European Union.

In his last public appearance a few days ago, Buckovski said that one must be careful when heating up public expectations regarding the possibility of unblocking the country’s accession process to the EU in December.
