The SONK union of public sector teachers announced that they are expecting to meet with the Government tomorrow afternoon, to discuss a possible compromise on their request for a significant pay hike.

The union, which is striking for two days now, also said that it is expecting a program of shorter lessons so that the school year can be concluded without forcing students to attend extra classes after June 10th.

With some small exceptions, the strike is fully supported by our members, SONK President Jakim Nedelkov said.
