Asim Musa, the DUI appointed official who serves as Deputy Healthcare Minister, announced a resignation after he was caught accepting a bribe to help an Albanian citizen receive a surgery in a Macedonian hospital.
But even as three weeks went by, Musa keeps going to work and is even attending public events alongside the (also troubled) Healthcare Minister Venko Filipce. Now, Government spokesman Muhamed Hoxha informed the press that Musa’s resignation letter still hasn’t been delivered to the Parliament.
The Government will submit its proposal soon and we hope that we can elect a new Deputy Minister in the course of this month, Hoxha said, confirming that the corrupt DUI official still holds this top position.
