The Municipal Committee of VMRO-DPMNE in Stip tonight celebrated its 29th anniversary. The party’s president, Hristijan Mickoski, addressed the event, who began his speech by emphasizing Stip’s importance for the party and for Macedonian history in general.
Stip is the city of persistence and Macedonian defiance, this place that gave VMRO-DPMNE great people that we remember today and that it has a well-deserved place in history, in growth and in all the historically important parts of the life of the organization that always belonged and still belongs only to the people of Macedonia. And so it will remain.
And these 29 years we are marking today, from the establishment of the VMRO-DPMNE municipal committee, would mean nothing without that decade-long struggle of the organization that animated, encouraged and preserved our ideals, Mickoski said.
As president of VMRO-DPMNE this position has helped me to work with the capital currently created by all the creators of the Macedonian epic and to represent the idealism, moral strength and firmness of Macedonia.
In his address, Mickoski also referred to the political reality and the future that can be expected from this reality.
In these 20 months behind us also for VMRO-DPMNE were one of the hardest from its formation till today. But we did not bend our head, we did not bend our backs and together we survived all attacks, Mickoski said.
