The owner of the “Besa Trans” travel agency, Bekim Hadziu, spoke for the first time in public after the horrific bus accident on the Struma highway in Bulgaria, in which 45 people were.
Hadziu said the bus had undergone a technical inspection before the trip to Turkey and was fully operational. It excludes the possibility that some of the passengers carried easily flammable substances. He confirms that he and his family were part of the trip and that they traveled with the other buses.
The owner of the agency says that so far he has not spoken to the media because he was in shock, but that in the meantime he is cooperating with the investigating authorities to find out the causes of the accident.
I said to myself: why wasn’t I on that bus and didn’t die too. I have thought about that many times, Hadziu told BNT.
