Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski is responsible for the increase in crime, with over 50 armed attacks in Skopje and 3,500 crimes across Macedonia, said the opposition VMRO-DPMNE party. He is also guilty of issuing passports to criminals from the region and the suspicious purchases of IT equipment from a company on a US black list.

This all tells us that the Interior Ministry is there to protect the Government from the people, and not to ensure order and safety for the citizens, VMRO-DPMNE said in a statement.
