“When someone dies, we know that this is not transient in life. When such events happen, they are painful, because the people we were expecting to come, never came. It is said that people do not die when they are buried, but when they are forgotten. We should not forget these people, let’s help their loved ones,” said President Gjorge Ivanov at the commemoration observed in the municipality of Gostivar to pay tribute to the 14 people who were killed in the fatal bus accident that happened at the Skopje-Tetovo highway on Wednesday.

According to Ivanov, this is a lesson to be cautious, to keep in mind that life is the most precious thing.

These people have lost their plans … Life is short and may it be filled with happiness, not with grief. I extend my condolences to the families, the municipalities, the state. May such events do not happen ever again, the President said.
