After a delay of over a month, organized crime prosecutor Vilma Ruskoska reportedly finally mustered the courage to invite disgraced Special Prosecutor Katica Janeva for a questioning over her alleged role in the major racketeering scandal.

The date is set for Tuesday. Ruskoska questioned two prosecutor working under Janeva, and another was supposed to be questioned today but was unavailable because of an appearance before the court. Janeva’s main secretary was questioned instead.

The long delay gave Janeva the time she needed to reportedly destroy evidence. She tried to conceal one of her phones, and ordered the formatting of computers in her SPO office.

Janeva is suspected of creating a major extortion ring, charging businessmen for various crimes and then demanding money from them to make the charges go away.
