The newly appointed director of the Macedonian Roads company Zoran Kitinov threatened to sue Republika over a report that a Spanish construction company is suing and demands 100 million EUR in damages.

Kitinov claims that the damages requested by the company are mere 10 million EUR.

I will sue you if you don’t publish a correction immediately. How can you print such lies, starting with the sum?, Kitinov angrily told Republika.

Rubau Construcciones is suing after having her contract to build one of the three portions of the Gradsko – Prilep motorway canceled by Zaev’s Government. Republika turned to Kitinov to ask to hear his side of the story, only to receive his threat. So far he has not disclosed any evidence to support his claim.
