Prime Minister Kovachevski emphasized the vital role of regional and international collaboration across various sectors, especially in combating crime and upholding the law. He highlighted the recent resolution of a significant murder case, crediting the success to joint efforts with EU partners and neighboring countries.
Kovachevski commended the police for launching a criminal investigation against five individuals related to the case, revealing that the main perpetrator had been apprehended in Turkey. He expressed gratitude to Turkey, Serbia, Bulgaria, and Croatia for their collaboration, citing this as a prime example of successful joint cooperation.
He reaffirmed Macedonia’s commitment to European integration, expressing confidence in achieving full EU membership by 2030. Kovachevski conveyed appreciation for the support received in the nation’s development over the years, concluding the EU screening process for Macedonia’s Chapters 30 and 31.
