Cell phone users of the Macedonian Telekom network are reporting issues – over the past days they would be listed as inaccessible when people try to reach them.

Friends tell me they’ve been trying to reach me for days, but it goes to voice-mail, one user said.

The company acknowledged the problem, and said that they are working to resole it. “We are replacing outdated equipment in the capital Skopje as we work to expand our capacity, and this can lead to drop of quality in our service in a small number of users”.
