The international community has been unanimous in its request to the authorities in the country to clear up the “Racket” case.
Paul McCarthy, Europe Regional Director at International Republican Institute, commented on the case, suggesting that the investigation should be allowed to continue to see what is actually true and what is not.
At the moment we only have the tapes and it is certainly worrying. The United States, especially the International Republican Institute, cares deeply about institutional transparency and a strong judiciary. The investigation should be completed, McCarthy told Voice of America.
He says the opposition should wait for the case to be resolved before coming to any conclusions. It’s important to be constructive, and the American friends are here to remind it, he said.
