VMRO-DPMNE leader, Hristijan Mickoski, said Monday on TV Klan that according to today’s statistics, more people die in Macedonia than the darkest days in Spain and Italy this spring, and our authorities declared victory over the pandemic in May and now it is worse with daily four-digit numbers of new infections.

Instead of preparing for the second wave, we had statements in the public not to worry about the citizens, because we would have entered the second wave ready. So now we have entered the second wave and today we have 21 fewer citizens in Macedonia. There is no ethnicity here, Macedonians, Albanians, Turks, Serbs, Vlachs, Roma are dying, due to the negligence of this Government and the institutions managed by this Government, said Mickoski.

Mickoski pointed out that today 42.6% of the tests came back positive and that it is more than the biggest peak from Bergamo and Spain during the first wave in the spring.
