VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski sees the dramatic drop in support for the ruling SDSM party as a complete lost of legitimacy for the Zoran Zaev Government.
VMRO-DPMNE is one step away from winning the presidential elections. The results of the first round revealed that VMRO is the biggest political option and has the support of the domestic and international public. It is evident that this Government is no good. We don’t need any additional evidence for that. The poverty, insecurity, crime, injustice, caused apathy and disappointment. The only possible response is that we all vote on May 5th. Let’s support Gordana Siljanovska – Davkova, Mickoski said during a visit to Skopje’s Kisela Voda district.
VMRO-DPMNE won across the country, from the rural eastern districts to most of the urban centers like Skopje and Bitola.
The opposition party won 47 out of 80 municipalities, while the opposition Albanian coalition picked up many of the majority Albanian districts, leaving SDSM holed in the center of Skopje and Zaev’ stronghold of Strumica.
