VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski met with the people of Gjorce Petrov on Sunday, to welcome the New Year under the Old Style calendar (Vasilica). Mickoski repeated the call for early general elections in spring, which he said are necessary to get Macedonia away from the losing track.
We want the citizens to have their country back. We are not calling for elections to get high offices. We want to punish the wrongful policies and the false promises SDSM and Zoran Zaev made, said Mickoski.
Mickoski said that VMRO will not be making false promises during the campaign, reminding the citizens of the disastrous failure of SDSM to accomplish its promise to clean up the air in Macedonia simply by taking over the Government.
It’s not correct to make such promises to the people, like they told you that we’ll have Alpine air as soon as they are in office. It requires work and implementing policies, and not empty promises, said Mickoski, announcing that VMRO-DPMNE will soon present a realistic electoral program.
