The failed policies of Zoran Zaev and this government cannot be ignored. This government destroys standards and brings bad results, destroying the lives of citizens, VMRO-DPMNE President Hristijan Mickoski said at Friday’s press conference.

The opposition leader has announced that his party already has a plan on how to start the economic renewal of the country, and, he said, citizens will feel it in the first 100 days of the new government.

The renewal of Macedonia and the economic boom are coming, we have announced projects from foreign companies that we will present in the coming period, which will be implemented within the 100 days of the new government, he said.

He stated that its a fact that Zoran Zaev’s government is not implementing reforms, does not want to do it and has no plan for reforms. He added that this was confirmed by the EU and the World Bank.

World Bank’s Doing Business report confirms that the year announced as an economic year has turned into an economic tsunami. There has been a drop of 7 places and Macedonia is now at the17th position, and the country is lagging behind in all 10 World Bank benchmarks, said the leader of the opposition party.

In terms of foreign investment, Mickoski noted that although the government boasts that they have tripled their investments, the overall amount is much lower than in other countries in the region.

Mickoski noted that the image of Macedonia that people from EU get is that it is a country ravaged by divisions and uncertainties, and said that the government was delegitimized and had already fallen.
