Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski finally spoke out about the murder of Croatian handball player Denis Tot, which led to allegations of an attempted cover-up, after the police initially claimed that there no injuries on the body.

Spasovski said that the attack in the Privilege club in Skopje’s park was apparently started as an argument between Tot and a girl, who is among the three suspects. A leaked video shows that later two men, and a woman, are hitting Tot and kicking him after he dropped to the ground.

The Minister said that two suspects are detained, the third is being sought, and that there are no reports that he left the country. It is widely reported that the third suspect is a drug runner who has lived in Slovenia.
