After a brief search across the city, a missing Polish football fan was located safely.

The man was declared missing during the chaotic developments in downtown Skopje on Friday afternoon, as Polish fans who have arrived for the 2020 European championship qualifier were drinking and fighting each other. His picture was shared on social media with calls to help find him. Later in the evening, the hotel owner informed that the Pole has been found in a bar and retrieved safely.

Meanwhile, a total of 233 Polish football fans were held in police stations across Skopje and brought before misdemeanor judges. No serious injuries were reported after the numerous fights which erupted, thanks to the strong police presence.
