A poll conducted by the Makfax news agency and research from the AVMU Media Agency show that news sites have pushed out television as the main source of information for Macedonian citizens.
While the TV stations were dominant just a few years ago, AVMU found that since 2016, a majority of citizens list the news sites as their primary source of information.
In a poll conducted by Makfax, covering 5.000 citizens, 59 percent of them stated that their primary source of information are the news sites. TV stations dropped down to third place with just 7.2 percent of respondents naming them as their main information source. Social media outlets are second with 29 percent.
