Only 9 out of 56 private internists agreed to help treat Covid-19 patients in public hospitals.

The age of the doctors, but also the work with their patients is the main reason for this response,the president of the association of internists, Aleksandar Manolev, told TV24.

The nine internists who volunteered to help at state hospitals have not yet been assigned to state Covid-19 centers because they have not received guidelines from the Ministry of Health.
